Imam Reza (AS) shrine holds changing flower ritual

The holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Shia Imam, has held the traditional ritual of changing flowers.

Based on an old-style tradition, the crew of the shrine changes the flowers over the tomb of the imam in the morning.

Then, the gathered flowers get dried during a special procedure to be presented to the pilgrims of the holy shrine.

The birthday of the eighth Shia Imam was celebrated by a wide variety of cultural programs in different Iranian provinces on Saturday.
